Birth Of AIMN: A Plus To Nigeria

The information industry is one that has given a tremendous
boost to the economy of America and other developed nations.
There is no doubt that Nigeria will witness such a boost to her
economy in the near future, considering the rate at which many
individuals are having their fortunes changed simply through the
selling of genuine information products to the information
hungry public.

In a chat, Mrs. Janet Anwo, an info marketer, said emphatically
that as a practitioner in this new industry, she had benefited a
great deal. She said: “We are indeed grateful to the father

He has really opened our eyes to the potentials in this
industry.”

Mrs. Anwo , while responding to the recent launch of  AIMN
(Association of Information Marketers of Nigeria), stated that
 “ the launch of AIMN is a welcome development. I see the birth as
a plus to Nigeria. Why? Many are beginning to make a good living
out of selling information products and if that is the case, you can
be sure that unemployment will reduce greatly.”

According to her, AIMN, in the near future, will regulate activities
of practitioners in the industry to ensure that the public do not get
duped. “Membership of AIMN no doubt will give credibility to my
practice just as we have ICAN in the accounting industry in
Nigeria,” she said.
